The Touch of Time

The Touch of Time

A Poem by Dean

Who are you?
today I breathe you
into my nostrils
into my blood stream
into my  body

into my being
and I do not understand
at all

yesterday
no more than a breath
now from that alone
a whirlwind
roaring, ascending
breaking time and space
creating place
out of the void
and there is you
dumbfounding me

do I know you?
when there is nothing
then there is something
and still to come
there is the matter
of exhalation

Indeed like a long, slow, exhilation of air. Moving and excellently structured.

Thanks, Ken---though I'm not happy with this one at all.
Time after Time ...

You came to me in the beginning..
Stayed close to my heart
Gave voice to my thoughts
You made me want YOU
Time after Time..

From our first breath through to our very last a life complete, yet time is unyielding and waits for no mortal man, so fill those years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds with levity as time for us is brevity!

yes it seems to be
Time affects our inhalations and exhalations from where its winds blow. A splendid poem , sir...:)...............
