The Weight of TimeA Poem by SynchoA short poem about time having a weight to it. The heavier your mound, the more memories you will have.
Time is precious, and it does not subside.
It kills, it lives, nature's rules it abides. For when it is wasted, it will not return. It will only continue to slowly burn. We may only watch as the sand trickles down. An unstoppable weight that falls to a mound. For this mound is the memories of times long past. That in the end will be all that will last. Time is impatient and it will not wait. Time can teach but not motivate. For time is cruel but just. It carries distraction and lust. For the man without discipline is the man time will trust. Time waits for no one. Time weights for no one. © 2015 SynchoAuthor's Note
