Homecoming

Homecoming

A Poem by Comfortably Numb

you gaze out the moonroof
at the cold flourescent stars
trudging by in double file
till the neon blur of the city fades
to sweet, sweet nothing
and you want to bail out of that sickly yellow last momento
of your concrete-and-glass prison
and fall into the fields
where the grass tickes your cheek again
and the night sky greets you as if you'd never
left.

Comfortably Numb
Wow, this is really old. XD Just something short I wrote a long time ago.
