In a Garden of SmartdustA Poem by SympaticoNomads. We camped on
further reaches Of days, wounded
with frail sleighs The hard evidence of
life was lost on us We sought meaning in
the future Watching the
smartdust come alive Around us, until our
vital signs
Were not lost in the
dark They were the
floundering fragments We always dreamed
about Respiration, pulse,
heart-rate Lovers. We tried to
love the world Dismantled was
identity, distance
In the virtual world
wide web We became antiquity
come alive Full of comic rites,
tragic howls Only bankrupt in how
we believed The abysm of history
was now plugged Into the network of
the stars
We wished to become
shuddering Orifices of Spring,
living a few more years To predict nano, to
clone our highest intelligence. © 2013 SympaticoFeatured Review
