Hugs and Cuddles

An attempt to write something happier that the things I usually write... It may not be the manliest thing to write about, but everyone loves cuddles! :D

The warm embrace of a close friend,
saying it will be ok.
The tight squeeze of a loved one,
saying by you're side they'll stay.

Let me hold you against my heart,
in arms that wont unfurl,
And in my arms, you'll stay safe,
shielded from the world.

A comfort hug, when s**t goes wrong,
from your brother or best friend.
Just make sure, if you catch his eye
you say 'No Homo' at the end.

And the ones everyone loves,
the ones you can never say no to, or shun,
the ones that say 'I'm proud of you,
and I'm happy to be your mum.'

They come in different flavours,
some serious and some for fun.
And if you don't like cuddles and hugs,
Then you probably need one!

I loved this poem!! My favorite line was

Thaaaat had me cracking up!!! Lol. Overall it's great though(:
