Lost

Lost

A Poem by Javan
"

Just a little something I wrote while daydreaming...

"
Sometimes I get lost
In the corridors of my mind,
I wander aimlessly,
Waiting for reality to come find me.

I talk with dragons,
and fly high with the flightless.
Anyone can buy a book,
but your own imagination? Priceless.

So when I'm daydreaming,
and I'm lost in a land,
far away from this one,
with a sword in my hand,

don’t wake me,
I know that my journey is fake,
But inside my own mind
Is the only place I can escape.

You did a great job just passing the time. This was really good. I loved the line about imagination being priceless. Wonderful write.

About
Just another 32 year old with an over-active imagination and a half-decent vocabulary. I started writing just to help me get things off of my chest and out of my mind. It's an escape for me. Been.. more..
