Building Blocks

Building Blocks

A Poem by Javan
"

I wrote something that isn't angry or miserable or broody! Go me! :D

"

I'm just an architect with dreams of building skyscrapers 100 storeys tall...
But for now I'll be happy if my shed has a roof,
and when I close the front door,
the whole thing doesn't fall...

I'll build it from the ground up,
one plank at a time.
My tools will be humble,
but that shed will be mine.

And as I get better,
I'll build it higher off the ground,
Until I can sit atop it
With the Lightning and the Clouds.

Just a little something... Again, not trying to win any awards here... Just spilling my thoughts...
