Zephyr Demon

Zephyr Demon

A Poem by Sylla Rege'ne

If there was ever a prince to steal my heart

That swore it would never love

It was you who possessed it from the very start

You, the demon from Hell above

For in a world where hell lies everywhere

The demons fall down to the street

To give sweet princesses the summoning stare

And sweep them off of their feet

But you, sweet prince, turned me to a queen

And left in the blink of an eye

You retreated with a blood chilling scream

As you rode your zephyr toward the sky

But I still heard your voice whispering

From the depths of where you'd run

And so I kept on listening

For you were my chosen one
