Her own world

Her own world

A Poem by Sylla Rege'ne

Wiping her tears on the back of her hand
Hating the defect she's become
A disappointment who can no longer stand
And is worthless to near everyone
A broken figure you can no longer mend
For there are no cracks to be seen
And a hurting child who will ne'er more bend
To the beat of her withering dream
Her life will go on as the world moves along
But she'll never escape her mentality
She will always tell herself she was wrong
And will never face her own reality

Very sorrowful poem, but I enjoyed it. You wrote is very well, and I liked your rhyming scheme. You did a wonderful job with this one. Oh, and another thing - I love your profile picture.. it reminds me of the movie Coraline ;)
