Swinging

Swinging

A Poem by A.L.
"

Swinging. Oh gosh, swinging gives me my own little world where I can hide peacefully.

"

Back and forth

I swing

Looking over the trees

Into the vast unknown

The wind violently lashes out

Blowing into my already messy hair

Stinging my eyes and face

I smile

When the swings goes down

My heart drops with it

The sudden rush

Of going down makes me giggle

I am lost in my own little world

Safe from judging eyes

Blissfully swinging

Back and forth

I made this right on the spot, so it may be cheesy at parts?
