Poor man and the snow

Poor man and the snow

A Poem by Muteen
"

Be it cold or hot,the poor man always suffers ,but a poor man attains more peace than any person on this earth.

"
Snow had concealed the soil,
People wearing long hairy shoes and traditional cloak,
Moved with slow pace ,
The snow had it's footprints ,
For less people had tread on the path,
The birds and animals had felt grey in cold,
Sluggish and sleepy the eyes had felt,
Some pleased themselves from the pleasure of snowfall,
The poor one left with hope,
Insearch of the lost food grains,
Toiled in cold ,shivered and sweated,
Near to death ,the poor was hungry and pale..
Some were still pleasing and enjoying the pleasant snowfall,
The poor sweated still ,
In his thoughts he felt the pleasure of unending grace,
The poor man went to his broken home,
On his way he saw the path with footprints of travellers,
The poor felt the warmth in his broken home,
Cheered till next morning had come,
Again he left and he again saw the footprints that tread always

A sad poem. We need to see the poor, disenfranchised, and elderly, mentally ill. All of them need to know we see them, and maybe invite them to play in the snow a little, once we help them into proper attire. Wonderful poem, my friend.
