Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Vee

Where are you?

Where am I?

Lost are the shadows,

Lost is the sign,

Open your heart,

And watch the blood flow,

Open your mind,

To the unknown,

Here I can show you,

All of your doubts,

All that I ask,

Is that you don't let her out,

Hidden in silence,

Locked up so tight,

Keep her that way,

And things might be alright,

So lean down to kiss me,

Give me your air,

Don't let me control you,

We must be a pair,

I can see them,

Your wings on your back,

I know what you are,

I know that they’re black,

I've seen you before,

In my dreams and in wake,

I know what you're here for,

I know what you'll take,

I watched as you fell,

I saw with my eyes,

The unnerving peril,

Of your first demise,

So look down at me,

With eyes made of glass,

Show me you love me,

And don't be too rash,

Kiss me my love,

And then we shall see,

Why you had fallen,

Fallen for me.
