Fishing

Fishing

A Poem by Syd

Your old mans favorite past time.
Your old mans old quiet lesson.
Let the small ones go, they still have a life to grow.
Sometimes you'll drag up branches from the bottom,
and sometimes you'll lose a good one.
And sometimes while you're reeling in your line,
you'll realize you're trying to catch yourself.

Quite a nice poem there. Though I never went fishing in my life, but I could sort of see the picture. A person is fishing, he sometimes misses good fish and sometimes drags up wet branches. Quite beautiful. Keep writing.

I like the way you express yourself. Good read and would make a good spoken word art piece!
