Terra Cotta EmbersA Poem by SyberRosePainting by Ann MortimerThe citrus scent of mandarin orange intoxicates
the last days of summer, and sweet perfume of night blooming jasmine awakens when
the sun goes down~ Corn
fields now beneath the autumnal moon are
covered in scarlet and gold, and the scent of terra cotta embers wafting within the crispness of the wind~ And as the yellow pendant of the sun peeks through the scope of the morn, smoldering leaves brightly shimmer like
fireflies in the night~ And wild songbirds reverberate autumns requiem
song. ©SyberRose
