The Stage of Autumn

Upon the rustic stage of autumn

graceful leaves perform their ballet

 

as they tip toe toward winter

in an allegro con spirito way~

 

Fragrant embers intoxicate

the wind within the majestic sky

 

as jack o lanterns light the stage

ballerinas in the wind dance by~

 

She practices her pirouettes

in her tutu of gold and reds

 

Naked limbs dance their arabesque

upon the gingery stage of autumn~

Its my favorite season too as its not too hot or cold...i'm really not into holidays ha...so maybe ill make Halloween mine too haa....Rose

i am the same way, Rose...i am not into holidays..used to like christmas when i was a kid..but not now..i do like thanksgiving okay because i go over to the newman catholic center in town and help serve food...it feels good to do that...and the people (usually around 8 or 900) generally seem grateful for the good meal..i am the deviled eggman...every year now since 1999...:)

thats great...so nice of you to do that...I used to have everyone over my house for a lot of years for the holidays but now we are all separated and live in different states and i hate traveling.
