If I Should Falter

If I Should Falter

A Poem by SyberRose

If I should falter please forgive me

for not walking the path of perfection,

as I would gladly caress your troubled brow

if you stumbled upon my heart;

 as I carry endurance well~

I did not blink as I learned

the new found language

of bohemian desires and a new wealth of

                inspiration to discover~

So when I feel unjust ~ I'll try to remember

I wasn't born in hell,

but from the womb of understanding

upon a foolhardy night.

oh my goodness ..the twist at the end totally surprised me!! what an adventure ... had to read this over a couple times ..i also am especially touched by the last two lines in the first verse ..you speak of one of the greater strengths in women ...patience and endurance ...unfortunately also can be a weakness when taken advantage of ... so glad i found this one Ms. Syber!

Thank you so much Sye...and so nice hearing from you as always sweetie...Hugss
I like the humanism in this piece. It speaks to the sympathetic voice inside us all calling us to remember that we are all flawed creatures and we must forgive one another as we hope to be forgiven of our own faults and flaws.

Thank you so much Fabian...and i'm happy you enjoyed this piece...Rose:)
You have some very creative lines in this poem. Perhaps we’re each crafted from one of Nature’s whimsical designs upon a loom of understanding. Each of us is a beautifully woven work of art. Imperfection may be nowhere to be found.

This was so endearing. Luckily, the heart that truly loves us, doesn't expect perfection, just sincerity. Your words are dripping with just that in this piece. Well done, Rose.
