Self PortraitA Poem by SyberRoseFor ContestI am the only one who really knows me and a twin inside who others don't see I am a mother a sister a daughter and a wife a scar upon my neck...from a surgeons knife A lopsided smile...with my own writing style A woman not young as I used to be but time has been very good to me I have a frown line that botox would love to inject but since botox is not permanent...I object. A loner by nature..I am no party girl I enjoy my solitude so poems can unfurl I don't drink...I don't smoke...I love a good joke I am a giver of presents at Christmas time I give jewellery but get soap of peach or lime Just a poet in love with beautiful words enjoy watching the morn's beautiful birds. ©SyberRose
