Gypsy Winds

Gypsy Winds

A Poem by SyberRose

The shadows of a smile are hidden

beneath the secrets of the moon

and the enchanting hue of passion

is still flaming with the heat of June~

And as the warmness of summer

disappears upon ivory skin

the blossom of once was

waits to bloom sweetly again~

Still, the rustling skirts of autumn leaves

peel like naked mistresses in the breeze

in the violins of the gypsy winds

surrendering to old man winter's knees.
