 You are in the gazebo of my dreams

                beneath a canopy of mimosa

and you are the light within the moon,

                against whose flame

no winds will prosper~

 

A turbulent sea could never

                shun the echo of the stars

in the luster of night,

                as passion undresses

                                the sarong of a guiltless affair~

 

 The stark nakedness

                of defiance consumes

the glare of reality,

                as my silver tongue unclasps

beads of pearly white~

Hi Rose. A lovely write of passion. Heartfelt and romantic. Skillfully crafted free verse which I enjoy. Good imagery, flow and tone. Line to line transition and breaks are done well. Nice rhythm and use of enjambment. Deep expression of emotion; seductive and sensual. Good word choice. Good closing lines. Well penned and a much enjoyed read. Write on!

loved the poem & Mimosa. Two decided to grow either side of an alcove around my place, where I am enclosed, grand solitude. Think I know you from somewhere in the past. Nice to see others enjoy like me. Syber Rose?, maybe a couple of years ago. I'm in process, fine tuning memory . . I liked nakedness of definance - money should always be without clothing
