Just when i think all is gone a whisper of you comes along a thought, sweet and gentle a smile adorns my face I guess my heart loves you the thought of your embrace
Just when i think all is gone you enter my mind like a song maybe just sentimental my heart starts to race remembering your hue my love for you can not erase
Just when i think all is gone just like egg foo yong though intercontinental a blush upon my face over an ocean of blue my memory doth trace
Just when i think all is gone a teardrop slips like a sarong though the feeling is mental we entwined, a shoe lace in love me and you our memories still interlace
Just when i think all is gone a bell within sings ding dong just instrumental thoughts of you doth grace a pas de deux memories arranged in a vase
Just when i think all is gone you come along...along again
Just when i think all is gone
a teardrop slips away like a sarong
though the feeling is mental
we entwined, a shoe lace
in love me and you
our memories still interlace
This is my favorite stanza...I love the imagery for the shoe lace and the way that you use it to describe the interlacing of memories. Our minds have a way of doing this; tying things together for reference purposes, thus creating an eternal bond between certain things, and often times people as well.
This was a sublime and haunting write. I can feel the ebb and flow of the imagery like that of the ocean, rising and falling with the tides. Well done.

This is an amazing write Rose. The intricate rhyming, skillfully done. Imagery and descriptives are vivid. Flow and tone is delightful. Deep expression of emotion as you express this love you have for this special person in your life. Good word choice as is your use of repetition for emphasis of feeling. A wonderful write. Well penned and a most enjoyable read. Write on!
