Tango of the Wind

Once upon a time
                you were in my heart
                                brilliancy within my soul
           shadows within candlelight
                silhouettes upon an easel of a wall


Violins within the music of your voice
                rainbows between your heart and mine
                                shining into the caverns of my eyes
           unmasking an unwilling disguise

                I fell in love and Oh! how I fluttered
                like beautiful wings of a butterfly

Exotic fans in the night danced a tango
                cheek to cheek was the wind and the sky
                                swirling upon a translucent dance floor
                                the skirt in the breeze tangoed by

Our hearts danced, Once upon a time

Good personification; the ending shows that it had occured once in the past. I seem to percieve that as bittersweet.
