Always The Moon

The moon is always there

in the loneliness of night,

When there is no longer you

and your words of delight~

 

When the heart is full of love

but no one to share

There is always the moonlight

kissing softness of my hair~

 

Peeking in my window

reflecting of my sighs

There is always the moon

within the moon, is your eyes~

 

The free spirit of the wind

in the loneliness of night

Whispers gently to me

  the love of moonlight~

elegant, simple, straight forward and romantic. Toward the end of the piece I was reminded of an old movie, I cannot remember which, in which a soldier going off to WW2 tells his love to look at the moon because he will do the same and realize that they are staring at the same moon and thinking of each other.

I am in love with the moon, it is such a beautiful, interesting feature we have in our world. The way it shines brightly in our night sky. I used to always say that it is watching over me, looking after me and making sure I am safe - I know I am wring but you know, it's a kid thing, ha - and, that there was a moon in every country, lol.

The beautiful and radiate moon, that reflects the light from the sun, but what makes it special is that we can see it, and admire its elegance (unlike the sun). Lovely and magical write, and much enjoyed. :)
