The lullaby of the ocean

calmly soothes the cradled night

while shadows linger with emotion

and passion continues to ignite

as moonlight becomes a potion

the dancing body of the waves excite

the salty fragrance in the air

seduces lovers unaware

nice combo of astrology and love. i really like "the cradled night"

because i think of the shape of some cradles and it reminds me of my favorite moon...the turkish one, the quarter moon.

i know you always say critiques welcome...and probably would like better feedback from me...but i just seldom find anything in your poems that i would change..you know your voice and are comfortable with it..and it shows in your poetry...i will not find something wrong just to find something wrong...if i like what i read, i just react to the content of the poem.

I have to hold my hands up and admit that yes...once...the moonlit beach held no bounds (ahem) for my wife and I when we were younger. Theres something about the whole ambience and Rose, you've captured it here exquisitely.
