Deep in the core of our hearts are promises, secrets, and desires buried in the sands of time, and within the shell of our body is another person waiting to emerge and breathe the essence of tomorrow; Waiting for a slight zephyr to lift and invite us to fly within the winds of breathlessness like a baby sparrow upon the wingspan of freedom, inhaling the serenity of a new day. They say we all have a twin; a twin within us, aching to be introduced.
Perhaps it's our "inner child"; perhaps our Muse; or maybe the true self we are meant to be. Love this write, Rose - got me thinking on a whole new level!

Thank you Rita...Glad you enjoyed this piece...Rose:)
How we all have more than one personality residing within us just waiting to be introduced, is an interesting concept. A poem well written, and much enjoyed. :)
(Read the other poems you requested, but I couldn't really find any words for them, though I did enjoy them much. :)

I knew what you meant. You were one of the lucky ones, like I said it didn't stay up too long. :)>
thinking about this...it is a shame that so often that twin never emerges...life passes by and we remain passive, just going about our dailey routines satisfied...
we don't endeavor to stretch outside of ourselves and go for more.
i do think poets let their twins out...their other selves...at least i hope that is true.

seems many writers are posting writes pertaining to depth, secrets and inner being here of late. your contribution to the trend is certainly no less impressive than other writes, in fact quite good. well done and nicely penned.
