Deep in the core of our hearts are promises, secrets, and desires buried in the sands of time, and within the shell of our body is another person waiting to emerge and breathe the essence of tomorrow; Waiting for a slight zephyr to lift and invite us to fly within the winds of breathlessness like a baby sparrow upon the wingspan of freedom, inhaling the serenity of a new day. They say we all have a twin; a twin within us, aching to be introduced.
We all do have multi-faceted personalities, no doubt about it. Sometimes we need a lot of introspection to find that twin. Gorgeous artwork and wonderful words....I liked this a lot. Lydi**

Thank you Lydi...yes I love Josephine Walls paintings...thanks again...Rose:)
This reminds me of something my psychology teacher once told the class.
"Strive to be a better person tomorrow than you are today."
Your poem here is like that. The twin waiting within us to be released is our better self, an improvement on us. It is only waiting for us to introduce it to the world. We simply need that nudge to become who we have it within us to be.
Very insightful and promising.
I am enjoying your works more and more as I read them.

This is beautiful. While my poem deals with the identity crisis of Homemakers, this beautiful poem deals with an inner personality that is always chained within us, and wants to come out. Brilliantly crafted. Loved it.
