Sweet Fragrance

The bud of a rose flowering with love

awakens to dew of the morn

Petals delicately soft as velvet

a pink rose not meant to be scorned~

The swirling of  fuchsia blends in the rose

unfolding cannot be ignored

Exuding with seductive sweet fragrance

lingers in senses to adore~

The sweet gentle song of the hummingbird

and whispering butterfly breeze,

It climbs the diamond trellis of the stars

within the moonlight of the trees.

I know the rose is a gorgeous flower but...you have a way of making it even more lovely Rose.
I think you could write about a dirty old oven mitt and it would be seductively exotic.
