Your Lips

 

 

Your lips upon mine, kissing softly

I open my eyes ~ but you are not there

Only at night ~ when I am fast asleep

I feel you again touching my hair

 

Are you a ghost or just a dream?

Closing my eyes ~ I feel your stare

Drifting to sleep ~ is it all in my mind?

Alone in my bed, touch if you dare

 

Tossing and turning, thinking of you

My eyes are closed ~ and unaware

I fall asleep ~ your breath on my cheek

Reaching out for you, it is just thin air

 

Again tonight ~ I think of you

Again tonight ~ My lips I share.
