Destiny

A Rendezvous Poem

"

  • Will we meet in the sunshine?

     under the mulberry tree

    Or meet in the seclusion of night~

    All this time I have wondered

    What will it be like?

    Will my heart still wonder?

     Alone in our rendezvous…

    Our secret garden of romance,

    At last I will be alone with you~

    Our silhouettes will embrace,

    On satin sheets of blue;

    Upon the wall of discreet

    In the mirror of breathless hue~

    I will count each second and minute,

    Until the final hour arrives…

    Wrapped in your arms my love;

    Will the passion in the night survive?

    Together we will surrender;

    To the orgasm of once fantasy~

    You and I my belove~

    Call me by my name...Destiny.

An interesting write which is open to many interpretations which is always a good thing. IS it an illicit affair, is it true love, or is it indeed awaiting destiny whatever that may be? Well done.

Rose, simply beautiful. Your poem painted a wonderfully sensual and romantic scene in my mind this day. My hearts beats in a more melodic rhythm after reading your perfect piece. Very nice.

Destiny, what an interesting concept, where one believes not in chance but in fate. A lovely poem that has a nice ring to it. Great job, and much enjoyed. :)

It's very peaceful, and I myself don't mind getting a little wet.
you just think in sensual terms and that translates onto the page in beautiful poetry...poetry that combines nature, eternity and the here and now of relationships...what they could be and what they are...

and there is so much intensity in all phases..
