You portray sweet temptation

behind the bedroom of your smile

 

Violet-blue eyes surrender

 to the needs of a foggy night

 

As you cast your shadow

over the body of a one night stand;

 

Feeding my starvation

 succulent grapes of wine;

flowing vineyards of desire,

I know I'll thirst for you again.

the first two lines of this are absolute solid platinum...gold wishes it were this good. i get the impression of a brief yet memorable tryst, but it is drowning in gorgeous metaphor and delicate imagery. this is a beautiful regret penned into a resonant memory of exquisite pulchritude.
