Cocoa EyesA Poem by SyberRosePainting by Karen Conine/Fine Art AmericaHis honey maple hair blows within the bayou Sweet cocoa eyes dance like sequoia trees A palomino tan gallops over his skin;
And his lips taste of succulent wild berries...
Bouquet of my lips filled the goblet of his heart
And enveloped with grapes of passion;
Overflowing the brim with a blush of sweet touch
And hint of vanilla candlelight...
But roving tides rushed in and candlelight drifted,
Upon gypsy waves of yesterday;
And the twilight of what could have been
Soon wilted within the blossom of the dawn.
