Endearment

Endearment

A Poem by SyberRose

I hold you in the endearment of my heart
The way the arms of the night hold the moon
And for the sun and the stars to adore.
Not in shadows but upon mountaintops
Where the wingspan of eagles fly
And as we grow old together
Love is deeper than a winding river
More vibrant than an emerald valley

In the cameo of my mind,
And in the springtime of our love
Within the scent of sweet blossoms,
Our love will continue to bloom
Yet, in the winter of our life
Still, we will be springtime lovers.

just beautiful penning, an affirmation of lasting love. I like the way the poem is light and i get the feeling of open arms reaching upward to the sky to tell the world of your happiness.....
