Blue Plumbago

Blue Plumbago

A Poem by SyberRose
"

Love At First Sight. Painting by Josephine Wall

"

You were standing near the blue plumbago
the sunlight adorned your chestnut hair
My heart did pound, you I had found
the man of my dreams standing there...
I was drawn to you as a butterfly
fluttering in the mid-summer breeze
I desired the bliss of your sweet kiss
your bronze body and eyes did please...
Sapphire waterfalls cascade behind you
from mountain slopes to sandy shore
Stars in your eyes, reflected my sighs
seduced by the fragrance I adore...
We fell in love amongst the bloom clusters
and graceful branches of blue plumbago.
