Exotic Jungle
A Poem by SyberRose
This is about a man breaking a womans heart and moving on to another.
In the exotic jungle of love within the candlelight flowers and the forest of the rain; you were the hunter... A hunter of the female species preying upon the vulnerable; You tracked with the final destination of capture in the cage of your ego; Pounching into our hearts like a cheetah when we least expected it.
We were not just jungle wildflowers under the canopy of stars, but you were the devils apple after we tasted your love we became delirious in love with you... We were not strangler vines but sweet orchids upon a vine inviting you into our hearts.
What were you afraid of? You disappeared like a water lily upon the River Amazon... You were afraid of being captured by the permanent scent of monogamy.
