The carriage pulled up to the gates of Ul'dah and we walked in only to be greeted by an npc named Wymond. Zell turned to the gate and view outside the gate was amazing and he said Welcome to Eorzea. Once they finished talking Zell turned Blaze "I gatta run and gather a few quest I hope to see you in the future " he said before he took off and waved as he ran. I waved back and ran into a cafe that was called an Adventurers guild. I talked to a few people before making my way to the Gladiators guild. I gathered a few quest from the quest givers and I ran around collecting gil and experience before buying a few essential items such as : potions, armor, and a shield. Once I had everything I needed I continued with quest and went outside the city to do so. I killed a few bug like monsters and a few ferret looking creatures. A few hours went by and I ran into Zell again inside the main gate. "hey man I didn't expect to see you again today" I called out to Zell. Zell turned around and laughed "holy s**t you're already level 13?" I laughed "how did you know what level i was?" I asked Zell replied "you can lock on to another player by looking at their health bar" he pointed above his head "if you look right about here you should see my health" I looked and saw his health and level, he was level 8 "you're not far behind me Zell" Zell laughed and said "yeah but I thought you were new to this game" I nodded" new to this game but not to mmos". Zell laughed "I see". Zell opened his menu and suddenly a window opened up for me that read "Accept Friend Request?", I hit yes. Zell stretched and said "time for me to log out for now" but before he could open his menu a voice broke out "Attention, we are having issues with the log out function please remain calm while we try to fix the issue, thank you for your cooperation" Zell sighed "damn it I wonder how long it's going to take, I have work in the morning" I looked around and saw different players in an uproar and thought "if nobody can get out this could be bad, and how long do they expect us to wait" thirty minutes went by and a new voice came and said "Attention please, we cannot find a way to fix the bug, your only option is to finish the game." There were many gasp from players all over Ul'dah, some people scared and other angry, a few were actually excited to be there. I narrowed my eyes and thought to myself "this isn't good
