prologue 1

the first of four prologues

I woke up floating in a blueish space like area only to see a reflection of myself. I looked at myself and saw fiery red hair with white highlights and I had one red eye and one completely white eye as if I was blind. I noticed I had ears and a tail which were the same color as my hair and on the tip of his tail had a white tip. A panel opened up in front and had a text which read "choose a user name". I wrote down Blaze Shadownbane on the line and it accepted it. As I descended down and planted my feet on what appeared to be the ground but under my feet I still saw the blueish space field I was in. I walked forward a few feet and was met with a voice that shouted "WAIT! hang on". I stopped in shock and saw this little ball of light hover in front of me and started talking to me. The ball of light said "I don't have time to explain but I need you to take this stone but don't worry it will appear in your inventory when you start, I have a good feeling about you and this stone". I was a bit confused as she spoke to me but I had a feeling I would soon understand. "I must go and give out more of these stones but don't worry all will be clear in due time" she said as she disappeared. I saw a man standing out from afar when the light faded. He wore a mask and a black robe and he started walking toward me drawing a staff. I grabbed for a weapon forgetting I was unarmed. Suddenly I drew a sword and shield and was confused at first but I didn't have time to worry about it so instead I dashed at him and sliced him. He disappeared and then everything went black. I woke up and my vision was blurry but I could make out figures surrounding me but not very close to me. I then heard a voice "hey you're finally awake".
