Still In Love With You

Your smile brought sunshine to my eyes

That can freeze me in the aisle of a thousand miles

Your voice brought music to my ears

That I want to hear even for a thousand of years

Your laughter brought melody to my life

That can tickle even the tiniest fibres of my heart

 

I love the way you look at me

That can melt me into my knees

I love the way you cuddle me

That can put me into sleep

I love the way how you make me miss you

Making me grateful and appreciative of you

 

The only thing I ever wanted is YOU

The only thing I ever wished for is YOU

The only thing I ever wanted to be with is YOU

I wanted to be forever me and YOU

But...

 

You left and now we're apart

How can I mend this broken heart

You didn't even said goodbye

It hurts and I cannot lie

 

Tears continues to run down my face

I'm broken and you left me in pieces

The world now looks like a big space

Help me please, before my breath ceases

 

I expected you to explain

To neutralize this stinging pain

Feels like everything was taken

How many times do I have to be broken

 

You're aware of me being shattered

But seems you are not bothered

I have waited and became wasted

Our precious love story have ended

 

What hurts the most is that

You didn't even try to keep me

But I just love the way you bring out

The best and worst of me

 

You have no idea what I've been through

Just to move on and get over you

It's easy to pretend that I do not care about you

But the truth is I'm still in love with you

My friends told me that this is just so long that it looks like two poems joined together. :D I'm sorry if it seems super long. :D

Its not super long.i felt its just perfect in length...but ya you mixed some sadness in the middle but its gr8..all in all its gud and nyc presented...
Personally you should work onto your words to give ur poems a much louder voice ..rest its a gr8 one

Awwwww. this is sweet. So joyful at first but then it turned bittersweet...
it's hard when your still in love with someone who has already left..

You took me with you on your journey, from Falling in love to heartbreak...I felt the joy and sorrow...
Love can be a rollercoaster of emotions... once you get to the bottom of the hill the thrill is gone and your left with only the yearning to get back on. Nicely done!

There`s a number of really good lines that jump out of the poem, the world looksnow like a big space is great, and Help me please makes me automatically think of Lennon/McCartney.All in all, a good poem, maybe you should be a bit more careful with the rhymes and the line length.

Your friends were right. I think this would have made 2 good poems. maybe with a reference in the tittles that could put the connection together - like maybe
"So in love with you" and "Still in love with you". just a thought though I still like what you have done.

There is so much joy in your first passages.. that celebration of love that brings out all the colors of spring in a soul... then your last lines just made me ache.. the loss of one so dear... the distance.. the questions... How too often dreams come undone.
