Love not to beA Poem by Cameron Stewart
My world was dark, sinister and bliss
I was in pain though strong and brave Laughter was but a gentle hiss Then she came, like an ocean wave I love her I was so helpless, sad, and defenseless, My bones were broken but marrow not What I would do for you to caress she made my blood boil so hot I love her I was in agony, though by choice to cure a malady My jokes were a rouse They were pokes at that which hurt Than she came I love her, for both heart and skirt I do love her It hit me hard It rocked my world She would be hard I love her We had chemistry, passion, and desire How could it be Things would get so dire I love her On the road of life, we were in different lanes Only seven years apart, yet so far She was little older, my heart pains It could not be, the pain, we both would scar I love her Though love will strike again She will always linger, a memory but good We could not be we could fore-see She and I understood Things were dark, but light I see I love her We were not soul mates We did love But passion concentrates I love will another as will she, our hearts soar above Grateful for our time but apart are our fates I love her Our time was great It saved me from darkness We could not be, but that is fate In another I shall find happiness She saved me from a poor state I shall always love her, it was a dead end Sorrow is gone, forlorn love Our hearts apart bend I love here, fates gave us others above I am grateful I am happy I am no longer painful I love her, however sappy I love her © 2010 Cameron Stewart |
