Strands In The Woods

Strands In The Woods

A Poem by BlueRibbon

A wondrous laughter is heard in the distance.
This time of year always brings smiles to those that want it.
Requited love is achieved and a morning under the weight of passion is always felt.
Respected, emotions rise with the tide.
Happiness is such the desire not to make bad into good,
More so the great leap to make the dark into light.
An illumination, at first seemingly an intimidation, is the fear that has left our hearts. The choices left for those who feel are now the laws of the good.
Nurtured in our existence is the synchronization of what we miss and what we need.
No longer does one look to the dark with a wandering eye, the sight becomes a wonder to behold.
In light,
The goddess returns to the bow,
And the earth is guided to prosperity.
A city once buried in hate,
Flourishes.
A man once destroyed by revenge,
Is now his own family's keeper.
With love, we are bound to the wishes of old,
The previous hold the grasp on the present,
Wound to an ever changing timeline.
What is now is the creation of everything we strove to make real,
Errors through tribulation.
A new figure on the horizon.
Hope is the key to survival.
