" understand" the isolation of the very word makes you as a reader fee you need to become compassionate to others to prevent suffering. I also like the way the goodbye looks like it is hanging from a noose symbolising the death of the individual perhaps, really good work. only thig found odd was the personification of the brain "it wanders" then the mechanisation ofit but still a very good piece :)

You read the understand positioning spot on! I'm glad that made sense.

"It" can mean anything related to you, in relation to the soul/mind/heart.

I left it as "it" because to define what Silence is for everyone is wrong, at least in my opinion. Everyone's different haha.
