My Math Teacher

My Math Teacher

A Poem by Swetha
"

Dedicated to my math teacher, who cleared away the fog that shrouds the world of numbers for so many children of my age.

"

Crawling through endless equations

Polynomials, graphs, and numbers

You guide us with infinite patience

We reward you with mistakes and blunders

On this special day

You are finally appreciated

For showing us the way

Through the world numbers created

With our heads full of equations

But our hearts full of gratitude

We thank you for your dedication

To help us discover our true aptitude

Happy Teachers' Day.

I actually wrote this on behalf of my class for our math teacher on Teachers' Day. This is for all of you who absolutely love your math teachers, no matter how much you hate the subject. Review away!

I read this the first time as an epigram. And then I re-read and actually began to appreciate everything my math teacher taught me. I have made excessive blunders as gifts to him! Don't factor out quantities in the denominator. -_- Anyways, thanks for sharing. Did you actually give this poem to him/her?
