Dead end

Dead end

A Poem by Alys Jackson
"

...

"
Walls closing in,
Towering over me.
Breathing sped up,
Heartbeat rising.
Nowhere to turn,
At the end of the road.
I can't turn back now,
They wouldn't let me.
Crying for help,
Nothing but my echoes reply.
As I wish for nothing more,
But for the ground to swallow me whole...
