Lovestruck

She used to wander, in search of brighter days

Sometimes she would get hurt, in so many ways

 

Life used to be a struggle; it would never let her smile

When things seemed to work out, dread was added to the pile

 

But one day, everything changed

He came around, it felt so strange

 

He crossed the walls that kept her so isolated

Like a charming prince that was for so long awaited

 

He held her hand and took her on a stroll

It felt like heaven, it made her feel whole
