Clouds

Clouds

A Poem by Page Rae Bickel

Billowy and white,
Gloomy and dark.
Brandishing images of the mind;
Of things and people left behind
Of wants and desires of the heart
Of fears and loathings that give a start.
Clouds are our windows to our soul

i like clouds. i could sit for hours and get lost in their white cotton bud suspension. i think this would work better with a small amount of punctuation, to break it up a little bit. as i read through this a few times, stopping and starting in different places, and it gave me a different feel for it each time, but not everyone as a good one. the first time i read this, i found it ok. the second time, better. i would suggest a semi-colon after line 3 and a period after line 6. leaving the last line to stand alone at the end. but thats me.
