In My Cell

In My Cell

A Poem by SweeTLoU

Stuck here again
Inside my mind
An empty prison
Just me inside
Looking for an escape
Wasting my time
Sometimes it seems
There's no exit to find

Going insane
Afraid of my fate
Why does the anger
Coming out feel so great

i just wanna leave i dont wanna wait

but im starting to fear it might be to late

this records been spinning way too long

inside my head i hear that sad song
when you gonna learn and move on
just gimme the key and ill be gone

im stuck in a place
I know all to well
Behind my eyes
Locked in my cell

This poem reads as a song, but it is a sad song. We all have many rooms in our head, sometimes we are imprisonned in one of them, sometimes we put our burdens in to forget (see Prologue of my book Requiem). Very well put, nice writing.
