The Scars of LoveA Poem by Frank Purcell
I think i may have pushed
My emotions a bit too far Because now i feel myself Carrying this internal scar I must have pushed My emotions a bit too deep Because now Im lying here Alone in a heap So i carry my scar Trying to find the love i need But no one likes a scar Which never ceases to bleed I revolt against this feeling Of lonely insecurity While girls fall for charm boys Who lack Originality! I tried so many times To stare love in the face But nothing was staring back I was alone in my own embrace. © 2011 Frank PurcellFeatured Review
