A Poem by Swaroop Manikandan

As I was telling you
about the mirror
that reflects a mirror,
a star appeared
reflecting the smile
that filled your lips.
Then you gave me the job
of counting
all the stars that appear
reflecting the first star.
I have seen
no dawn
after that.

If you don't mind me extending,
Lost my count of the single big picture
Million merry stars now draw me nearer
To your mellifluous aura
I found your countless virtues even in dark.

Thank you Mayank for the read...
Sweet and maybe romantic, but subtle.
Nicely done.
