nesting sky . . .

nesting sky . . .

A Poem by Swaroop Manikandan

You are the only one
who could recognise
those numerous lights
in my darker sky.

Still, I am trying in a hurry
to conceal the sky
in an abandoned nest.

Now, please don't send me
your birds
that lay star eggs.

,..

great that you love it... keep coming...
dark sky and birds with star egg, best pickup words I enjoyed the way you relate.

Thanks Eve...
this is a ice piece, I had different images come to mind when reading this; first looking up at a bleak, dark sky ad then being joined by another who points out the light. It feels like someone who is experiencing a low moment in their life, when someone comes along to try and help brighten their spirits. I don't know if that's what you had intended, but it's what came to mind, very beautiful

Thank you pal for stopping by and adding your meaning to those words...
This is so beautiful......one of the rare times I read over and again... Until it imbues deep.
