seas, shores and boats

seas, shores and boats

A Poem by Swaroop Manikandan

At first there was
only one sea.
Then there happened
a pair of seas,
one for you
and one for me.
And then
there were many seas
coming up
on the basis of
everybody's need
just to be followed by
the aimless boats
wandering everywhere
without knowing
whose who
is on which shore?

the aimless boats
wandering everywhere
without knowing
whose who
is on which shore? ____

"and the sea took them away
wandering in ebb and tide
Mine on this shore and
I can see your boat on the other side.
The world is round...I finish my console."

The pleasure is mine :-)
Life pulls in different directions. :)
Sometimes we do it alone, sometimes we come together.
Great thought provoking write, can be interpreted in many ways.

Love this poem. A very creative style and the poem conveys a different meaning to different people. I myself, as I read, saw two people wanting to be together but then ended up with different people as time traveled on. But this is just my prospective. Amazing poem :) Truly loved it
