Pale Moons Light

Pale Moons Light

A Poem by Jordan Wilson
"

a short poem of love lost

"

Getting tired, time to sleep, hope tonight gives me a dream.

A dream of us, of solace to be.

But until then I will sit with a tear in my eye, sad, numb, lost and alone,.

Looking for a place to call my home.

Where to look? Where to start? When this world is so far apart,

using me, like everyone else, smile with a grin while I let you in.

Tell you things I haven't said, while we lay in my bed,

Silent night, best night, falling apart together in the pale moon light.

If I had known that night was alone, never to be again, never to see again,

I might, just might have said, the truest words I had left in my head, as you lay in my bed.
