Can I be oneA Poem by Saraswati
As you go towards the astral path
Looking for the unexampled ideas As you move towards the mountain of great heights Can I be the one to be with you and Walk by your side?? As you glare through the window On a beautiful rainy noon Sipping on your coffee and taking Bite on a crusty loaf, Can I be the one leaning over your Shoulders and listen to the cathedral's Song. As you walk by the sea beach Listening to some old country music Over the crumbling earth With an glass of lemonade in your hand Can I be the one to touch your hands And look through our shadows moving along in the sand. As you drive your car by a lonesome boilivert Covered with deciduous woods Listening to the cicadas and owls Can I be the one sitting next to you Glaring at the moon ,listening to slurlings of wolf.. As you rest in your chair, with your wrinkled body and grey hairs With a dispirited self out of care Tired and pale despondent Can I be the one to sitting next to you and smile and wash away all your fear Of dying alone and unheard.. Let me know If I am the one Let me see. If I really can Let me feel What is so surreal and pure If only you could Uplift my soul.... © 2020 SaraswatiFeatured Review
